Planting, according to the annual planting guide.

So we have started planting a few plants. In this picture we have planted 15 Red Onion, 30 Cherry Belle Radishes, 15 Carrot, multiple lettuce plants (they were a random lettuce bag), 4 Mini-Cabbage, and 1 Green Collard. There was a little snow a couple of days ago, so I took some clear plastic cups from work, cut some holes in them for ventilation, and placed them over the collard and cabbage for a mini greenhouse. It worked great and the plants are still kicking.  All of this you can find under the "Community Garden Plot" tab. We have a chart of what we're planting and when. Fortunately we have a few weeks until the optimal time to plant tomatoes, so until then we are planting the mini cabbage. They should be finished in about 45 days or so. At which point we will harvest and plant some tomato plants.

This is our 10' x 10' plot at the community garden. It's very good soil, and we're planning on giving the garden a straw bed covering. It's supposed to be good for the plants and the soil. We'll see.

In the very back of this picture we have 30 radishes growing just along the fence. The row in front of that we have 15 red onion from the left and 15 carrot towards the right. In front of that we have multiple types of lettuce growing, and some mustard greens. The four plants that you can see are cabbage, and the one towards the middle is collard green.
